Educational opportunities at the are one of the key benefits to attending the show each year. Attendees with not only have access to the show floor — featuring 645,000 square feet of the latest products and services in the home building industry — but more than 100 education sessions covering topics from architecture and design, to building techniques and strategies, to sales and marketing.
Last year, IBS introduced Super Sessions — super-sized educational experiences of favorite IBS sessions — to provide more insight into hot topics. Attendees in these wildly popular and jam-packed sessions discovered some of the most popular annual industry trends and forecasts.

This “state of the industry” session kicks off with the Housing & Economic Outlook featuring three nationally recognized economists offering their expert analysis on the nation’s economy, housing prices and home building, and challenges that may be on the horizon. After a broad look at the year ahead, our Home Trends & Buyer Preferences panel will take a deep dive into kufun’s most up-to-date research on the features buyers want and builders are most likely to include in their homes in 2024.
