Log home living is also energy efficient, thanks to the tight building envelope that the stacked log systems create, which in turn can lower utility bills. Plus, their building material — solid timbers grown from trees, a renewable resource - is inherently green. Many log home builders purchase certified wood sourced from sustainably managed forests.
